Questions about academic programs, faculty and class experiences. Academic questions can also be addressed by the START Center or the Dean of Students.

AdvisingSTART Center, Carleson Hall (832-2280)
Academic advising is available to all new and continuing students. Students can drop by the START Center or call to set-up an appointment to meet with a peer advisor.

ASWC (Associated Students of Westminster College) – Shaw Center (832-2715)
ASWC, the student body association, organizes activities, clubs and student government. There are lots of ways to get involved!

Bookstore – Shaw Center (832-2700)
Textbooks, school supplies, computer software, Westminster apparel, gifts.

Campus Patrol & Safety – Emergency: ext. 2525 (office: 832-2526)
24-hour-a-day campus patrol, after-dark escort service, and emergency response. Vehicle parking permit available at Cashier’s window, Bamberger Hall.

Career Resource Center – Shaw Center (832-2590)
Job listings, career library, cooperative education/internship program, e-recruiting, career workshops, résumé writing, career fair, and personal, major, and career exploration.

Computer Lab – Giovale Library (832-2014)
Free use of computers. Set up your personal account to access e-mail, the Internet, and all other network programs. Technical support available.

Counseling Center – Shaw Center (832-2237 or 832-2246)
Personal counseling (free and confidential), crisis intervention, substance abuse assessment and referral, drug and alcohol education programs, residential outreach.

Dean of Students Office – Shaw Center (832-2230)
Student advocacy and liaison, coordination of student services, referrals to appropriate campus offices, medical withdrawals, student discipline.

Disability ServicesSTART Center, Carleson Hall (832-2280)
Advising, orientation to campus and community services, academic accommodations and support, referrals for diagnostic testing.

Federal and institutional aid (loans, grants, scholarships), emergency loans, work-study program, student employment.

Cornerstone Café–residential and campus dining services.

Giovale Library – (832-2250)
A Westminster ID card, issued by the Library, allows students to use ANY Utah college or university library. Journals, books, computer links to databases, microfiche, technical assistance available.

Math Tutoring Lab – Converse Hall B14 (832-2406)
Drop-in math tutoring available.

Print Shop/Mail Room – Walker Hall (832-2690)
Offers a wide range of services to students at minimal cost.

Register for classes, add, drop or withdraw from a class, request transcripts, verify enrollment, or apply for graduation.

On-campus housing, meal plans.

CLEP, MBA, aviation (FAA) testing by appointment.

Math placement and School of Education admission tests are offered by individual appointment. Information available for CLEP exams and BYU foreign language testing.

Tutoring START Center, Carleson Hall (832-2280)
Peer tutoring available for many classes, free of charge. Students can call for information or drop by to request a tutor. The math tutoring program is administered by the Math Program.

Veterans’ Services – Shaw Center (832-2230)
Liaison with Veterans’ Administration for GI benefits, certification.

Volunteer Center – Shaw Center downstairs (832-2840)
Volunteer and service learning placements, student leadership programs, monthly service projects.

Writing Center – Giovale Library (832-2271)
Peer writing consultants assist students with research, organization, development, and writing class assignments.
