Tofi Ta’afua is a vice president of private wealth management at Goldman Sachs Bank. Prior to joining the firm in 2005, Tofi was the assistant director of alumni relations at Westminster College. Tofi says the experiences she had as a student at Westminster prepared her for success in the firm. As a student, Tofi served as ASWC president and was involved in the presidential search that resulted in the hiring of Westminster president Michael Bassis. That experience exposed her to the critical and analytical thinking as well as communication and collaboration skills needed to reach an executive level. Now as a leader at Goldman Sachs, Tofi uses teamwork, creativity, and integrated thinking to manage the firm’s risk and solve problems that arise, while maintaining the high ethical standards that were an integral part of her Westminster business curriculum.
