Gene Barton graduated from Westminster in 1986 with his MBA. Gene knew he would need an advanced degree to compete in the corporate world. The teamwork, leadership, collaboration, and critical thinking skills that are the foundation of a Westminster education prepared him for his role as a group controller at Hexcel Corporation. Gene manages the accounting department and is responsible for keeping track of accuracy and transparency of the budget. His work allows him to utilize the value of ethical awareness that Westminster emphasized in his education as he ensures the honesty and transparency of the organization. Gene served on the Westminster alumni board from 2004-2010.
