The Student Alumni Relations Committee

The Student Alumni Relations Committee is dedicated to enhancing the connection between students—past, present and future. We work to create a college that fosters a sense of community and instills in its students a lifelong commitment to our alma mater.

That means S.A.R.C. is a student club that is dedicated to bridging the gap between students and alumni while doing so in engaging and fun ways.

S.A.R.C. sponsors Alumni Tip of the Week; a free snack at the Adamson Alumni House on campus, every Thursday 1-4pm during the school year. While grabbing a snack, we will let you know one benefit of being a Westminster Alum as well as ways to get involved with past griffins. This helps students understand that when you graduate, your diploma is so much more than a piece of paper ­– it represents a community you are still very much apart of!

S.A.R.C. also works with the Alumni Office on events that the college puts on, such as Reunion Weekend, Senior Dinner, Commencement, Theatre Night, Cocktails and Connections, Take a Griffin to Lunch, and much more. These events offer a great way to start your networking with Westminster Alums, to help find internships, shadowing opportunities, and mentors.

Westminster is a place of extraordinary opportunities, and rich traditions. Campus involvement is one of the best ways to become a part of the Westminster College community. S.A.R.C, is one of the most active student organizations on campus and can help you build deep connections with the college that will last a lifetime. 

 Some of your most important learning occurs outside of the classroom, and we encourage you to continuously challenge yourself to grow as a member of the Westminster community — a community long after graduation.
