Born and raised in St. Paul, Minnesota, I moved around the country after college, living in Colorado, Florida and Texas before settling in Utah in 2003. Before becoming a professor I supported myself through quite a range of odd jobs including a year as a janitor for mice. Prior to my arrival at Westminster college I spent three years teaching at Texas Wesleyan University, a small Methodist-affiliated liberal arts college in the Dallas/Ft. Worth Area.
