I am an Assistant Professor at the School of Nursing and Health Sciences, Westminster College. I hold a Master of Science degree in Nursing from the University of Utah, a Master of Science degree in Anthropology from the University of Oregon, as well as undergraduate degrees in Nursing and Visual Arts. It is a pleasure to share the knowledge, skills and attitudes gained in over 20 years of clinical nursing experience in Labor and Delivery, Maternity and Newborn care, Medical/Surgical Nursing, Community Education, and Staff Development. I also coordinated a media campaign to broaden awareness and support for families and victims of domestic violence under a grant from the Centers for Disease Control in Lane County, Oregon. I currently teach undergraduate courses in Nutrition and Health Assessment, as well as Graduate courses in the Master's of Science in Nursing Education Program (Diversity in Nursing Education, Technology in Nursing Education, and Evidence-Based Teaching.
