Dr. Han Kim is an associate professor and director for the Baccalaureate in Public Health Program in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Westminster College. An epidemiologist and mechanical engineer by training, Dr. Kim's research interests include social and behavioral factors in health, epidemiology and research methods, public health informatics, global health and development, and public health education. He teaches courses in epidemiology, biostatistics, social and behavioral sciences in health, global health, SAS programming and research methodology. Outside of the Public Health Program, Dr. Kim teaches in the School of Nursing and Honors Program. He also takes students to Thailand for service learning projects during May Term.
Off campus, Dr. Kim enjoys taking advantage of the superb outdoor recreation offered by the Wasatch Mountains with his wife, Linda, and his two children, Cameron and Ella. He is an avid skier, both at the resorts and in the backcountry. When the snow melts, Dr. Kim enjoys climbing, hiking, and mountain and road cycling. He also enjoys photography, art and music.
