AboutDr. Aric Krause is a faculty member in the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business. Aric also works on developing new academic programs for the College. Most recently, Aric is working with other faculty on the professional "Bachelor of Business Administration" (BBA) degree completion program, an innovative project-based degree program for adult students.
Aric relocated to Salt Lake City in 1999 from Western Pennsylvania. Aric received his Ph.D. in economics from Colorado State University in 1998, a M.A. in economics from DePaul University in 1993, and a B.S. in economics from Illinois State University in 1989. Aric researches in the areas of: information technology, standardization of technology, and technology-intensive multinational corporations. Aric also consults in the areas of trade policy and strategy.
Aric says he loves being at Westminster College because he "enjoys the personal aspect of a Westminster education." He also says that "at every college you visit, you hear about the importance of education. At Westminster, faculty live it by taking the time to get to know students, by individually challenging them, and by honestly caring about student's lives."
Aric is a travel junkie. In the past three years, he has visited Thailand, China, India, Peru, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Austria, Slovak Republic, Cambodia, Korea, Croatia, Czech Republic, Netherlands, Hungary, and Utah County.
In the last year, Aric has worked with a team of faculty members to develop the Professional Bachelor of Business Administration program, a groundbreaking and innovative new business degree program for adult learners.
