About

This is my eleventh year in the Psychology Department. My area of specialization in the Psychology Department is Developmental Psychology, and I have recently taken on an exciting new task here at Westminster.

In January (2005), I became the Learning Communities Coordinator. Learning Communities are an interdisciplinary approach to teaching and learning. The dialogue that occurs in these classes between students and faculty is both dynamic and challenging.
After piloting Learning Communities during the 2005-2006 school year, we currently have 22 learning communities in place for the 2006-2007 school year. All first year students now have the required opportunity to take a learning community. We will have this kind of supportive classroom experience available for ALL first year students.

We are beginning a very exciting time. Our liberal education program wil now include many out of the ordinary course pairings. Stay tuned!
