| Description: |
A series of graduate fellowships and undergraduate scholarships to encourage promising young scientists to prepare for their careers in meteorology, oceanic, and hydrological fields. For current seniors, graduate fellowships carry a $15,000 stipend for a nine-month period. For current sophomores, undergraduate scholarships of $2,000 are awarded for the junior year of college and may be continued into the senior year. For current juniors, a number of scholarships ranging from $700-5,000 are awarded for the senior year of college.Please visit website for application materials. |

Students about to enter their first year of graduate school in a fields leading to and advanced degree in the atmospheric and related oceanic and hydrologic sciences are eligible to apply. Applicants must be U.S. citizens of permanent residents to pursuing a degree at a U.S. institution. |
