| Description: |
The ASM Undergraduate Research Fellowships provide funding for eight weeks of full-time microbiology-related research in the summer. Students conduct research in their home institution with the guidance of an ASM member and present their research results at the ASM General Meeting the following year. The award provides support of up to $5,850. The program requires a joint application from both the student and the faculty mentor. |
Enrollment Requirement: |
Only enrolled full-time undergraduates involved in a research project that have an ASM member at their home institution who are willing to serve as a mentor are eligible. |
