The annual stipend for all fellows is $25,000. The Foundation also provides a cost-of-education allowance covering all tuition and fees to the academic institution sponsoring the fellows proposed program of study. The fellowships are tenable only at a select number of prestigious universities, and they are renewable annually for a total tenure of no more than five years. Application materials are available through the website given above. |

Applicants must have received a bachelors degree by the time they commence their fellowship, and they must propose to complete a program of graduate study leading to a PhD in the applied and physical sciences.
