This grant offers eight $3,000 sports journalism scholarships to applicants in their junior year of college to assist with college costs senior year. The program is specifically designed to foster freedoms of the press and speech while promoting quality sports journalism education at the college level. |
Enrollment Requirement: |
Candidates must attend a NCAA member institution, have career goals in sports journalism, and majors in journalism or experience in sports journalism on campus. Applicants will be judged on their academic records, an essay, recommendations, and samples of their work |
