Q. How do I get an application to apply for a DAR scholarship? A. To obtain an application, along with an information fact sheet describing our scholarships, please send a self-addressed, stamped business size envelope to NSDAR, Attn: Scholarship, Committee Services, 1776 D Street NW, Washington, DC 20006-5303.

Enrollment Requirement:

Two one-time, preferred amount awards of $1,000 for students twenty-five (25) years of age or older. One award is given to students studying to teach at the elementary school level, the other to students studying to teach at the secondary level. All applicants must have at least a 3.50 GPA, be at least a college sophomore, and attend or plan on attending an accredited college or university. The award is based on academic merit and is not automatically renewable, though recipients may reapply for consideration as long as they meet the eligibility requirements.
