ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA Applicants must meet these criteria: -Must be a graduating minority high school student showing leadership potential and demonstrating financial need. -Must NOT possess a two or four year college degree prior to applying for this scholarship -Must be a United States citizen or naturalized citizen of the US. -Must plan on attending an accredited four-year college or university in the fall of 2009. -Must have a minimum SAT of 1000 combined on the math and critical reading sections or a composite ACT score of 21. Please note: JRF only considers the combined SAT scores of the MATH and CRITICAL READING (formerly Verbal) portions of the test. JRF does NOT consider the writing portion of the SAT in its final selection. -Must display leadership potential and a dedication towards community service -Must demonstrate financial need |
