The Integrative & Community-Based Learning (ICBL) Assistant will
work closely with the Project Coordinator for ICBL to complete projects and tasks related to
co-curricular programming, community relations in Sugar House and Salt Lake City, and more. This
position will assist the functions of the ICBL office and provide considerable flexibility for students
to engage in and pursue projects/programs run through the office to support student learning.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: • Draft and edit
correspondence to internal and external communities • Plan and monitor logistics for events •
Maintain online presence – including social media, website, and various email accounts – for Sugar
House Chamber of Commerce • Collect and measure data regularly for all activities, including
maintaining spreadsheets, contact databases, online analytics (social media, website), and more •
Assist in strategizing and implementing community relations/co-curricular efforts campus-wide,
including the Student Consultant Program, Student Mentoring Program, Alumni Mentoring
Program, and more • Prepare minutes and action items from various meetings • Serve as student
representative at community meetings and events • Other duties as assigned QUALIFICATIONS

perform essential functions. Required: • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills •
Proven experience in project management and/or event planning • Must be proficient in computer
software, e.g. word processing, using spreadsheets and databases, website communication, and
social networking • Must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic
environment • Must be able to interface with college administration, the community, the campus,
and other students with a courteous and professional manner • Must be self-motivated, flexible,
responsible and reliable Preferred: • Knowledge of email marketing software such as
ConstantContact or MailChimp • Design experience and knowledge of Adobe Design Suite
