Summer Camp

Summer Camp-

Not being conducted summer 2014, but expected to resume summer 2015.

Aviation summer camp is normally held during the middle of July for one full week and is open to students entering their sophomore, junior, or senior year in high school.

What to expect

Attending camp is a great way to get a feel for college and find out if an aviation career might be right for you. Campers stay in the Westminster Residence Halls, enjoy meals on campus, and participate in a wide variety of aviation and outdoor-themed activities, including:

  • Two flight lessons conducted by Westminster Certified Fight Instructors in Westminster-owned airplanes.
  • Simulation lessons in our Frasca 142--the same kind of simulator airlines use for interviews.
  • Career evaluation and exploration exercises to help students determine a more focused area of interest.

College Credit!

  • Students who have completed their sophomore year of high school (minimum) earn two (2) college credits. These lower-division, elective credits are transferable to other colleges. Value: $2416
