SALT LAKE CITY –
Westminster will host the following activities to celebrate Black History Month.

Tuesday February 2: Many Steps documentary, followed by Q&A with filmmaker, Patrick Mureithi
7:30 p.m. Vieve Gore Concert Hall.

Thursday February 4: ICYIZERE: hope documentary, followed by Q&A with filmmaker, Patrick Mureithi
7:30 p.m. Vieve Gore Concert Hall

ICYIZERE: hope is a documentary about a 3-day gathering of 10 survivors and 10 perpetrators of the 1994 Rwandan genocide, as they are taught about PTSD and go through a series of group exercises that help to build trust. www.drury.edu/multinl/story.cfm?ID=23602&NLID=421 

February 16: Panel Discussion: What is the Value and Purpose of Black History Month?
7:30 p.m. Gore School of Business Auditorium
Panelists from the SLC area, to be announced when finalized.

February 24: African American Spirituals
7:30 p.m. Vieve Gore Concert Hall.
This is a performance and discussion featuring the Calvary Baptist Church Choir, Layton Junior High School choir, and Westminster Choir. The discussion focuses on the hidden meanings and messages within the music.
