Westminster's Alumni Board Announces New Leadership and Members

SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College Alumni Board is pleased to announce its leadership for the 2010-11 year:

· Bethany Eller Matsumori, chair of the Alumni Board, class of 2003, public relations consultant
· Elvira Charles Nelson, vice chair of the Alumni Board, class of 1979, class of 1984, owner, Urban Outsourcing
· Laurel Miller-Jones, secretary of the Alumni Board, class of 2001


Additionally, the Alumni Board recently appointed three new members:

· Angie Schneider, class of 1999, sales administrator for Warner Truck Center
· Laurel Anne Shepard, class of 1975, post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) charge nurse, RN, St. Marks Outpatient Surgery
· Michelle Swift, class of 1980, RN, JD, attorney

Westminster’s Alumni Program helps graduates stay engaged in the college’s unique environment for learning by connecting them with educational, social and service opportunities at the college.

These members join Corbin Archer, MBA class of 2002, CEO Technaglass; Jake Breen, MBA class of 2006, associate broker, Prudential Real Estate; Silvia Castro, class of 1998, director of Hispanic/Latino Affairs, State of Utah; Christine Chytraus, class of 1977, program manager, Utah Department of Health; Chad Dorton, class of 2000, senior systems administrator, Numira Biosciences; Troy Hooton, MBA class of 2001, COO, Tesco Williamsen; Carlos Linares, class of 2001, MBA 2005, president and CEO, Linares Consulting Group; Donna Miller, class of 1984, pilot, Frontier Airlines; Julianne Peck-Dabling, class of 2001, program manager, Salt Lake County Mayor’s Open Space Trust Fund; John Rech, class of 1995, sales, L.N. Curtis & Sons; Heather Smith, class of 1997, social worker, Utah Department of Workforce Services; Chris Thomas, class of 1996, owner/officer, The Intrepid Group; Stephanie Tobey, class of 1998, MBA class of 2000, assistant vice president for Community Development, Zions First National Bank; Brent Winslow, class of 1990, City of Orem.
