Westminster Chamber Singers Song Featured in New Movie

SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster’s award-winning Chamber Singers are pleased to announce their recording of “Be Still My Soul” is featured in the new film Resistance Movement scheduled to open this month.

Directed by Kathyrn Moss, the film is based on a true story of three teenagers living in Nazi Germany during World War II who secretly listened to illegal BBC radio broadcasts and wrote/distributed anti-Nazi leaflets throughout Hamburg.  The main character, 15-year-old Rudi Wobbe, is eventually arrested by the Gestapo and tried for treason.

The song “Be Still My Soul” was recorded a capella and featured in the last part of the film.

Resistance Movement premiers July 11 at 7 p.m. at the Megaplex 17 at Jordan Commons.  For tickets, visit tp://www.megaplextheatres.com/RESISTANCEMOVEMENT?date=07%2F11%2F2012
