Westminster Women's Golf Team Qualifies for 2011 NAIA Women's Golf National Championships

Team ranks in the 2011 NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Poll
SALT LAKE CITY – For the first time in school history, the Westminster Women’s Golf Team qualified to compete in the 2011 NAIA Women’s Golf National Championships. The team became the Frontier Conference champions after defeating Rocky Mountain College at the conference championships, earning them the automatic qualification for the national championship.
Westminster’s team is just one of 16 who qualified for the national championships, which will be held May 17- 20 in Greenville, Tennessee.
The Westminster Women's Golf Team is also ranked in the 2011 NAIA Women's Golf Coaches' Top 25 Poll. Eleven conferences, independents, and unaffiliated groups are represented in the final poll. Westminster received 63 points to secure No. 24 in the final poll.
