Campus NewsWestminster's FNP Program Celebrates 100% Pass RatesTweetFor the fourth year in a row, Westminster’s Master of Science nursing students received a 100-percent pass rate on the Family Nurse Practitioner certification examination. After passing the exam, students graduating from the Master of Science in Nursing-Family Nurse Practitioner (MSN/FNP) program become certified and licensed FNPs. These practitioners function as primary health-care providers with the ability to work independently, in acute or long-term care settings, or in a clinic. The MSN/FNP is a two-year post-baccalaureate program that is fully accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. It offers working professional nurses the opportunity to become licensed and certified as Advanced Practice Registered Nurses with prescriptive privileges as an FNP. Westminster’s graduates are 100 percent successfully employed. |
