stable chronic disease states in the adult and older adult client. Attention
is given to early detection and treatment of chronic disease, occupational
and environmental hazards, common psychosocial problems, and changes in
function related to aging. Appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic
therapies are examined. The seminar explores the role of the family nurse
practitioner and clinical management issues in primary health care of
adults. Case studies are used to evaluate clinical decision making skills
and to identify pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapies. Prerequisites:

The clinical seminars utilize case studies to evaluate clinical decision-making
and to identify pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic therapy for the young
