Course Descriptions
Physical Education courses provide certain concepts and aspects of education
that other educational areas cannot supply: physical fitness, movement education,
lifetime sports, leisure time skills, and an understanding of our sports culture
which has a strong influence on our lives.
Any Physical Education Activity Course may be used to satisfy the liberal education
requirement for Group 8, Arts/Physical Activity.

The college grants all military veterans with six months or more of service
four credit hours applicable toward fulfilling the Physical Education requirements
under the LE program. Students must present a copy of Military Form DD214 as
verification of service.
