Synthesis, Characterization, and Toxicity of Silver Nanoparticles

Silver nanoparticles are increasingly being used in consumer products because of their antimicrobial activity. However, research into the toxicity of these particles that are inevitably released into the environment has scarcely been investigated.

Last summer, synthesis, characterization and investigation of toxicity using tissue samples and zebra fish were investigated.
