2013 Commencement

On June 1, 2013, Westminster College will celebrate the conclusion of its 138th year with the commencement ceremony.

It is a time to honor those who will be graduating and thank the friends and families who have supported them through the years.

But commencement is more than a celebration of the moment. It is also a link to the past and a promise to the future.

Men and women have gathered on this campus for a century. Each spring they have attended their graduation ceremony like the graduates of the class of 2012, heard the same words of praise, and received a diploma and all of the rights and privileges thereto appertaining.

There is something magical about repeating the ceremony, uttering those words, and wearing the academic regalia. It ties us to the past and gives context to our moment of celebration. It makes us part of the future, by letting us see that future generations will do the same things, feel the same emotions, and be touched in the same ways.

So please, check this website periodically and help us honor the graduating class of 2013.
