Caution, the Computer Science Program...
can be mentally stimulating. You may experience being in the "zone" or losing track of time while designing and coding programs.

Westminster's Computer Science Program

Why Study Computer Science?

Westminster Computer Science Program

After graduation as a Computer Science major, you may decide to pursue a career in the field or go on to graduate studies. With a degree, you'll be able to use computers as tools in many fields, or teach computer-related topics.

Why Choose Westminster's Program?

Our curriculum is a synergistic blend of theory and practical experience. Our classes are small, and professors teach all lab sessions. This allows an unusually high degree of personal attention from the faculty, as well as opportunities to interact frequently with other students and work together on class projects. Internships with companies like Evans & Sutherland or Boeing provide a chance to work in a real-world setting and learn to function efficiently within an organizational environment. We provide excellent computer facilities for computer science majors including dozens of Windows personal computers, a few UNIX workstations, and a lab running 12 Linux workstations.
