The Vagina Monologues by Eve Ensler February 5, 6, 7, 2009, 7:30 p.m. Each year in the month of February, the V-Day Organization, founded by playwright Eve Ensler, allows The Vagina Monologues to be performed royalty-free on college campuses. Performances of the play and related V-Day events take place around the world to raise awareness and funds for organizations working to end violence against women. “The Vagina Monologues,” written by Ensler, is a compilation of over two hundred interviews with women on their experiences of sexuality. Red Noses by Peter barnes Directed by Michael Vought March 18, 19, 20 & 25, 26, 27, Black Box Theatre A comedy set during the Great Plague. Enough said? Heartfelt hilarity ensues when a lowly priest follows his calling to form a band o misfits whose sole goal is to make people laugh at least once before the succumb to the inevitable.
One Act Festival April 7, 8, 9, 10 Student Directors will select and direct a series of one act plays in a delightful showcase of their talent. Plays will vary in length and subject matter resulting in a wonderful evening of theatre.
