Ellipsis Debut featuring Fiona Sze-Lorrain

The Weeks Poetry Series and Ellipsis…Literature and Art are pleased to join together in the debut of the 2012 issue.

Fiona Sze-Lorrain writes and translates in English, French and Chinese.  One of the editors at Cerise Press and a co-director of Vif éditions, an independent French publishing house in Paris, her recent work includes prose translations of Hai Zi (Tupelo Press, forthcoming, 2012); translation of Auxeméry's Mingus, méditations (Paris, Estepa Editions, 2011); and her own book of poems Water the Moon (Marick Press, 2010), which contains work first published in Ellipsis. With Gao Xingjian, she has also co-authored Silhouette/Shadow (Contours, 2009). Also a zheng concertist, she has performed worldwide. She lives in France. (www.fionasze.com)
