Lower-division writing classes average 20 students, while upper-division English classes may have 15 or fewer students. What determines whether I need to take entry-level English classes?High scores on ACT, SAT, AP, Clep Humanities, Clep Analysis and Interpretation of Literature could allow you to receive credit for English 110 and/or 220. How many hours must I complete if I transfer from another college or university?Transfer students must complete a minimum of 12 upper-division English hours to earn a Westminster College degree in English.
