Westminster Aviation Scholarship
HOW TO APPLY
1. GET ADMITTED to Westminster College by completing our admissions application.
2. SUBMIT AN ESSAY of approximately 500 words detailing how you will enrich our community of learners and how a Westminster education will prepare you to contribute to the aviation community: participation in campus and civic activities, community service, and work experience are examples of areas that may be included in the essay.

3. Applicants are encouraged to schedule a time to visit campus to meet with a representative of the Scholarship Committee. Interviews via telephone and Skype may also be arranged.
4. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS POSTMARKED by April 19, 2013.
The Scholarship Committee will select the ten recipients by evaluating the student’s academic record, the quality of the student’s involvement in the community, and the student’s potential to contribute to the aviation community as a graduate of Westminster’s aviation program. Applicants must apply and be admitted to Westminster by Friday, April 19, 2013. Don’t wait to apply though, applications are already being reviewed!
NOTE: The essay for the Westminster Aviation Scholarship is in addition to any documents required for admission. When submitting the scholarship essay, please indicate that it is for the Westminster Aviation Scholarship and ensure your name is on each page.
THE FINE PRINT
Recipients must register as full time (12 or more semester hours), degree-seeking students in each term that funds are received. Terms and Conditions for Receipt of Westminster College Merit-based Awards also apply. Students who do not enroll at Westminster in the Fall 2013 semester forfeit the award.
To be considered for the Westminster Aviation Scholarship applications must be postmarked on or by April 19, 2013. Incomplete applications will not be reviewed. Recipients of the award will be notified on a rolling basis but no later than May 1, 2013.
