A campus-wide Wellness Committee had its inaugural meeting on August 29, 2007. Establishing a Faculty/Staff Wellness program was a priority, and the result was Passport to Wellness. The rallying cry is "MOVE MORE - EAT BETTER", and Westminster employees are encouraged, among other things, to get a free Fitness Assessment (available through the FWRD's Strength & Cardio Attendants), attend aerobic exercise classes, eat at least 2.5 cups of fruit/vegetables most days, and experience a meditation class. Participants can look forward to earning points good toward massage, personal training, and other rewards. Also note that in 2007, as a result of an ongoing commitment to employee wellness, Westminster College received a Silver Level Award from the Utah Council for Worksite Health Promotion.
