Courage At Work

To survive and thrive, organizations need members who behave courageously. Courage is required to reverse organizational decline, combat unethical practices, and accomplish most worthwhile goals. Nevertheless, forces operating in most organizations serve to stifle courage, and courageous acts are routinely discounted and even punished in many workplaces. Click to Read Article.
Westminster Contributes to Global Sustainability

When Rich Collins was in graduate school in economics in the late 1970s and early 80s, his major fields of study were Industrial Organization and Environmental Economics. “I distinctly remember one of my graduate school colleagues strongly recommending that I reconsider Environmental as a field of study,” he said. ‘It is just a fad,’ the colleague said. ‘It will never be a legitimate field of economics; switch to labor economics or monetary economics where there will be a future.’ Click to Read Article.
