Re-launching 'Brand America' in the 21st Century
What is the image of 'brand America' in the world, and what can U.S. companies do about it? Keith Reinhard, founder of Business for Diplomatic Action, spoke at Westminster College this past March during the American Express/Weldon J. Taylor lecture Series and addressed this issue. Reinhard says that the declining image of America in the world can be corrected through efforts of both the public and private sectors, but in the meantime, it is costing billions of dollars in lost tourism, as well as trade for goods and services. Westminster Launches New Bachelor's Degree Completion Program in Business
The Bill and View Gore School of Business is launching a new Bachelor of Business Administration degree targeted exclusively to working adults needing to complete their bachelors degree. This new program uses a self-paced, online mentored learning process in addition to limited on-campus experiences. Students demonstrate learning of key business fields by completing a series of integrated projects rather than traditional course work. This program is targeted to working adults who have already completed an Associate of Arts or Associate of Science degree. To find out more about this new innovative program click here.
D.A. Davidson Students Show Us the Money
The Center for Financial Analysis gives a performance update with a positive message. The Q2 results for the D.A. Davidson Student Investment Fund are in, and they indicated Westminster performed well in comparison with other Utah schools, especially considering the recent market volatility.
