Are you a high school student interested in experiencing college life? Want to try your hand as scientist? Join us for Camp Great Salt Lake!

What exactly would you be doing?

• Earning 2 college credits
• Paddle surfing as you take water samples
• Hatching and "abusing" brine shrimp cysts to see how well they can endure their extreme environment
• Discovering what sea monkeys really look like and why they are so interesting to scientists
• Gaining both lab and field work experience that will look great on your resume
• Meeting new people and getting a taste for college life while staying in Westminster's dorms
• Finding out how the lake harness sunlight
• Identifying birds and exploring GSL's wetlands
• Meeting live birds and their handlers
• Hearing about current research and issues from real scientists and learning how you can get involved
• Picking up winning science fair ideas
