The following dates are of importance to Honors students. For a list of all of Westminster's events, please refer to Westminster's online calendar.

Friday, August 21, 2009: Honors Orientation, required for all first-year Honors students, 11:00 am - 7:30 pm (check-in at Gore Auditorium). Click here for schedule

Friday, October 9, 2009: John Cook IV, Meghan Hekker, & Sara Rees present their Honors Independent Summer Research Grant projects, in Nunemaker

| October 28 - November 1, 2009: Annual National Collegiate Honors Council Meeting, Washington, D.C. |

Monday, January 4, 2010: Honors program starts reading applications from students applying for fall 2009 class
|
| January 29-30, 2010: Regional Academic Decathlon, hosted by the students of the Westminster College Honors program |
| Friday, February 13, 2010: Annual Honors Writing Award submissions due |
|
Monday, March 15, 2010: Honors Summer Independent Research Applications & Honors Peer Mentor forms due
|
Saturday, March 20, 2010: "Admitted Student Day" with Honors Preview on the campus of Westminster College (rsvp to Admissions: 801-832-2200), for admitted and prospective incoming Honors students

Monday, March 29, 2010: final deadline for Honors program applications and essays (postmark) from next year's incoming first-year students

|
Wednesday, April 21, 2010: Annual Spring Honors Banquet, 6:00 p.m. in Nunemaker. Reservation required. Call or email the Honors Program Director

|
Thursday, April 22, 2010: Annual Faculty v. Honors Students Softball Game, High Noon on Dumke Field (Lunch will be served)
|
|
Thursday, August 19, 2010, 7:00-9:00 PM: First-Year Honors Students Move into the Residence Halls (assisted by Honors Peer Mentors). Honors Orientation begins Friday morning, August 20.
