Honors Application

Incoming freshmen who wish to apply to the Honors program should have a minimum 26 ACT (or SAT equivalent). While the average ACT score of recent entering Honors classes is around 30, it is much more important that students have a strong academic preparation in high school, an attraction to the distinctive learning approach in Honors, and a deep desire to take advantage of the many opportunities that the program offers.

Honors application materials can be secured from the Honors program office or the Admissions office (801-832-2200). You can also download an application below. There are two opportunities to apply for the program: an early application deadline of November 29, 2012 and a final application deadline of March 29, 2013.  Admission is offered on a rolling basis. 

While interviews are not required of applicants, we strongly encourage prospective students to visit campus, attend an Honors seminar, and meet with the director of Honors.
