Citations and Bibliographies: Uses

So how do you properly cite the books, journal articles, web sites, and other sources you use and protect yourself from allegations of plagiarism?

Every time you include research in a paper, presentation, or other project, you need to list all the sources you use in a bibliography .

Bibliographies serve a number of purposes. You've probably noticed that many of the sources you've used in the past include bibliographies; you can use these to continue your research: when you find an interesting item in someone else's bibliography, you can obtain a copy of it through the Library and use it in your own research.
