The Library of Congress Country Studies - "A continuing series of books prepared by the Federal Research Division of the Library of Congress under the Country Studies/Area Handbook Program sponsored by the Department of the Army. This online series presently contains studies of 100 countries.

Country Briefings from Economist.com - "Articles, background profiles, forecasts and statistics, market and currency updates, newswires and links on 60 countries" from the online version of the premier British print publication founded in 1843.

Country Commercial Guides - This site is provided by the U.S. Government and is free to use; however, you must register as student or researcher to use it. Click the "Register Now!" link when accessing the database to complete the registration process. "The Country Commercial Guides (CCG) are prepared by US Embassy Staff once a year and contain information on the business and economic situation of foreign countries and the political climate as it affects U.S. business.
