If your ERIC number begins with ED then the item is considered
an ERIC Document. The ERIC database also includes
books and some other items that are not available in the microfiche cabinet
or full text online. If you have an ED citation that
you need, and you are unable to locate it online or in the microfiche cabinet,
please talk to a library staff member and we will help you locate the item.

and higher (1996 - to current)
An ERIC document included in this year range is likely to be available full text online directly
from the Education Resources Information Center at www.eric.ed.gov, or in the ERIC database available at Westminster. In either case you will need Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer in order to view the full text document in pdf format.
ED 348466 - 385671 (1993 - 1996)
An ERIC document included in this year range is likely not available full text online at the Education Resources Information Center webpage, or in the ERIC database. To locate the document first check the ERIC microfiche cabinet to see if it is available. If you need a document that was published prior to 1993, please talk to a library staff member and we will assist you in locating the item.

The majority of ERIC documents are now available to download in pdf format, free of charge, from the Education Resources Information Center webpage.
- To access an ERIC document open a web browser and go to the following webpage www.eric.ed.gov.
- Once you have accessed the webpage enter the ERIC document number as illustrated in the image below.
- Click the
button to complete a search for the document you are looking for.
If the document is available the results will be displayed in the window with a link to view the full text pdf document.
- On the results page click the
link to view, print, or save the pdf document.

The majority of ERIC documents are also available for download in pdf format, free of charge, in the ERIC database available at Westminster.

- Once you have accessed the database enter the ERIC document number as illustrated in the image below. When entering the document number be sure to select the AN Acession Number field.
- Click the
button to complete a search for the document you are looking for. If the document is available the results will be displayed in the window with a link to view the full text pdf document.

If your ERIC number begins with EJ then the item is considered
an ERIC Journal.
To determine if the Giovale Library has access to a particular
journal, you need to check
our Journal Holdings list. If you need assistance verifying whether
or not Westminster has a particular journal cited in ERIC, please ask.
If we don´t have the journal you need, we will show you how to
request it through interlibrary loan.
