1. I never get a Remote Access Login screen
If you do not get this screen, you might be using an old link. Try accessing
the database from the databases page.
Should you encounter a link that does not provide EZproxy access, please
note what resource you were trying to access and from what URL, and email
the Systems Librarian or
call (801) 832-2267.
2. Why don't certain features or links in the database
seem to function when I'm connecting via EZproxy?
Database vendors use a variety of programming methods on their database web
sites. Some of these methods can make it hard for EZproxy to keep passing information
between you and the site. There are a few possibilities:
If the features/links function when accessing
the resource on campus, the library may need
to adjust its EZproxy configuration for the
database
The problem may be with the vendor's site
Your browser's settings might be preventing
certain functionality (Java, JavaScript, Active
Server Pages, etc.)
Please note the name of the resource and the features you were trying
to access, and email the Systems
Librarian or call (801) 832-2267.
3. I get 'Page Not Found' or a "menu.htm" page.
Try closing your browser, reopening it and redoing the search. If the problem
persists, please call (801) 832-2267.
4. Are you logging in through AOL?
Your AOL browser may not work with all library resources. If a database does
not work through AOL, connect to the Internet via AOL but launch Internet
Explorer or Netscape to access the database.
