Course Reserves

Materials on Reserve circulate for 2-hour, overnight or for 2-day periods (depending on the size of the class using the item).

Patrons may access books, DVDs, and other physical materials by requesting them at the Circulation Desk. All articles will be available online via our library catalog in .pdf format which can be printed or downloaded.

Faculty may place personal or library copies of material on reserve at the Library by completing the following steps:

  1. Download and complete a Reserve Request Form. (Forms are also available in the Library.)
  2. Send by email, campus mail, or bring the completed form and a copy of the material to the Circulation Desk as far in advance as possible.

Due to time and staff limitations, we cannot guarantee your reserve materials will be immediately available for students unless you have submitted your Reserve Requests well before the first day of classes.

At the end of the semester, items on reserve will be automatically withdrawn, unless faculty request a renewal of the reserve status.

For more information about library hours, reserves, renewals, etc., please check with a library staff member or call (801) 832-2250.
