Library Study Rooms
The Giovale Library has several study rooms available for use. The study rooms can
be used for many things such as quiet study, group projects, and for viewing audio visual materials.
Many of the rooms are equipped with whiteboards, all have network access for plugging in laptops, and several have TV, VCR, DVD combination carts for viewing audio visual materials.
Guidelines for Study Room Use and Scheduling
- To schedule the use of a study room, you may go to the Circulation Desk on the main level of the library, or call (801) 832-2250.
- The study rooms are available on a first come, first serve basis; however, groups have precedence over single users.
- The rooms should be scheduled at least two hours in advance, when possible.
- Rooms will not be reserved for longer than a three hour time period, though if no one is waiting for use of the room, continued use for a longer period of time may be accommodated.
- Study rooms can be reserved no earlier than two weeks in advance, and for no more than two recurring days and times.
