Tower Reading Room
Looking for a quiet place to get some reading done, or just a restful spot to gaze out on campus? The Tower Reading Room is a popular spot for many students looking to escape.
Windows on three sides offer beautiful campus views, and the Library's newest book acquisitions are shelved close at hand. Students curl-up on leather chairs under the vaulted ceiling or meet in small groups in the break-out rooms where they can work on team projects. Break-out rooms have computer ports, tables and chairs, whiteboards, and great views of the campus.
"To those with ears to hear, libraries are really very noisy places. On their shelves we hear the captured voices of the centuries-old conversation that makes up our civilization." -Timothy Healy

At the present time, students are organizing, preserving and digitizing the Archival collections of Westminster College, including raw and fragile documents dating back to the beginning of the school in 1875. |

"Keeping track of my classes, my job, my ASWC activities, and everything else I'm involved in drives me crazy. Browsing new books and just taking some time to think in the Tower Reading Room really helps me keep it together."
