Preparation for National Board Certification with an ESL Endorsement

This MED program prepares you to submit materials for National Board Certification, while earning your English as a Second Language Endorsement.

The ESL endorsement is designed for licensed teachers who are seeking qualification to teach K-12 children from all language backgrounds.

In highly interactive courses, students will study historical and political foundations of education for English language learners, second language acquisition and effective teaching and assessment methods for multilingual classrooms.
