Alumni Mentoring Program

What is AMP?

The Alumni Mentoring Program is designed to foster the personal and professional growth of Westminster undergraduate students through individual mentorship with qualified alumni mentors, and peer group discussions facilitated by Westminster Alumni.

What's involved?

AMP has two required elements:

  1. Individual mentoring opportunities between alumni and students
Students and mentors meet (or connect) at least twice per month throughout the academic year.
  2. Facilitated “Saturday Sessions” with all AMP students.
The Saturday Sessions have four aspects:
  • A check-in/update/brainstorming session on the various mentoring relationships
  • An alumni speaker – who discusses the “real world”, tough choices, successes and failures
  • Question & Answer sessions
  • Theme and activity
