Montessori Education at Westminster College

Earn your Montessori Teaching Credential at Westminster!

Westminster College has developed a Montessori teacher education program that combines traditional Montessori instruction with special needs training and a strong arts component.  This one-year program leads to a credential at the Early Childhood or Lower Elementary level.  An additional one year program is being developed which will lead to the AMS credential for the complete Elementary I-II level, beginning in 2013.

The Institute for Montessori Innovation is accredited by the Montessori Accreditation Council on Teacher Education (MACTE) and affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS).
