Jazz Combo

Rehearsal Time: F 11:00-1:50 p.m.

Rehearsal Location: Rehearsal Room, Emma Eccles Jones Conservatory

Eligibility: The Jazz Combo is open to all Westminster students/faculty/staff.The make-up of the ensemble varies from semester to semester, depending on the instruments played by those enrolled.All brass, woodwind, string, percussion, and keyboard instruments are appropriate, including voice.

The combo, which holds weekly rehearsals in an informal setting, relies primarily on improvisational skills.Basic proficiency on an instrument or voice is required, but no prior experience in improvisation or jazz is necessary. One or two performances are given on campus each semester.
