Westminster College Music Program Auditions

General Information:

All prospective music minors must audition to be considered for admission to the Music Program at Westminster College. Numerous four-year music scholarships are available that range from $500 - $3500. Scholarship auditions are held through the end of February for the following academic year. To receive a music scholarship, you must maintain a GPA of 3.0.

Audition requirements:

1. Two contrasting pieces, memorized; bring an accompanist or the accompaniment on a cd
2. A one-page music biography in outline form that describes your music background (ensembles, music classes, instruments, awards, solos, etc.)
3. A current photo

You should prepare music representative of different styles and periods of composition to highlight your ability and talent. These works should demonstrate your musicianship and technical proficiency to their best advantage.
