How Do I Get Into the School of Nursing and Health Sciences?

• Apply successfully to Westminster College
• Apply to progress into Nursing Program during sophomore year of study 
• See prerequisite support course requirements

Upon Acceptance to Westminster

• School of Nursing Application Packets will be available April of 2013 
• Deadline for all completed documents and required forms is August 9, 2013
• Classes begin January 2014

How Long is your Waiting List?

• There is no waiting list. Students who are not accepted may apply the next year.

How Many Students Can You Accept?

• 90 students annually

What do you look for in an applicant?

• Strong cumulative GPA from all schools attended (minimum GPA of 2.80)
• Strong GPA in prerequisites (minimum GPA of 2.80)
• Compelling, well-written personal statement
• Strong references
• No documented criminal history
• Negative drug screen results from an approved laboratory
